Magazine articles

This magazine has a readership of 24,000 CPAs mostly located in Illinois.

People profiles

Wrote cover story for Golf Today about an artist who specializes in golf art.
This is a people profile I wrote about a kidney dialysis patient who used to be the chef for the Grateful Dead. He now does a lot of community service for those who are going through dialysis. The magazine printed my article word-for-word and used their own byline.
I wrote a weekly "People Matters" feature for Applied Materials' internal Web site. The column focused on an employee who was doing something unique outside of work. This grandma worked in a high-tech environment, but she was also a drag racer.
This was the cover story for Columbia University's School of Engineering spring 2012 issue.

Press releases

Inc.com chose PointandShip Software as one the fastest-growing, privately held companies in the United States.
This press release highlights Patrick Lencioni’s book "The Five Temptations of a CEO" 10th anniversary celebration.
The press release and subsequent media follow up and pitches resulted in nine media (print, online & TV) mentions for St. Mary's Cathedral Festival of Flowers.

Media Outreach for Clients

Conducting media pitches for my client Natasha Lisitsa and Waterlily Pond Floral and Event Design Studio has resulted in numerous online, print and TV stories.
Waterlily Pond's Natasha Lisitsa was featured in a two-page spread in the San Francisco Chronicle's Sunday Datebook section as part of the de Young Museum's Bouquets to Art 2009.
ABC's 20/20: A Place to Call Home; instrumental in the pitch process for Larkin Street Youth Services, which provides services and shelter to homeless, runaway and at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 24.

Bios

I wrote this bio for a high-profile Sotheby's real estate agent.
I wrote this bio for a former Sotheby's International Realty agent who moved over to Coldwell Banker.
I created Playbill-style staff bios for Loomis Group's pitch to StubHub.

General

I work with two Northern California Home Instead Senior Care franchises. Among my duties is to update their website copy. At times, I have written fresh content for their sites, including "Our Team" content and "Alzheimer's & Dementia Care Services."
Since March 2011, I have edited and re-written Web copy for Panorama9, a Denmark-based technology company. Nearly every page on its website has been updated as a result of my edits and re-work.
