As a freelance journalist in Nashville, Tennessee, I write about music, entertainment, art, interesting places and people, and travel. Recent stories include the Desert Cancer Foundation's Sixth Annual Paint El Paseo Pink Walk; Lisa Marie Presley's Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville; and the upcoming Country Music Association awards. I have interviewed a wide range of entertainers, from rap/rocker Kid Rock to Christian singer/songwriter Bill Gaither, along with the Doobie Brothers, Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw thrown in between. I have written or co-written several books including "Ghosts, Gamblers and Gangsters of Las Vegas" and "Carrie Underwood, an Autobiography." I write for Reuters, AOL's The Boot, Gospel Music Channel's online website and "Country Weekly" magazine, among others. |
