Professional/Personal Overview
I have spent my career making technical topics such as medicine easy for the layman to understand. An award-winning health writer, I enjoy writing about complex topics for audiences ranging from low-literacy readers to CEOs and MDs. The topics I have covered include pediatrics, pregnancy, emergency medicine, vaccination, and nutrition. My projects include articles, blog posts, online courses, newsletters, and a consumer health book. I also work on technology projects, including medical technology, green technology, and consumer software. I am currently earning a certificate in technical communication.
