Professional Experience

As a freelance writer and photographer, my work has been published extensively in a variety of magazines, newspapers, books and on several web sites. This work encompasses travel, instructional, interviews, dining reviews, humor, short stories and poetry. Most of my work is sold as a bundled package of photgraphy and text, making it easy for editors to retain uniformity between the text and images.

Slice of Life

Most of us encountered bullying when we were growing up. This is my story.

Interviews

Interview with the notable photographer, Kelly Munce.
This interview with Martin Schoeller showcases some of his work, and the techniques he uses to elicit the images he takes. Shooting such notables as Jack Nicholson, Angelina Jolie and Clinton, the caliber of his work has been documented in Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and many other national magazines.

Instructional Pieces

This is an instructional piece on how to shoot more creative photos. In it, I discuss varying techniques to obtain more interesting images. The piece is supplemented with a wide roster of some of my more abstract images, many of which have won photography awards through imaging contests.
Many photographers are daunted by their subject not cooperating during a shoot. In this article, I discuss various techniques that help a subject to relax so you can capture that perfect shot.

General
