Professional Experience

A freelancer with 10 years in the publishing industry, I have been the photo editor for dozens of books (including some award winning titles), styled models and celebrities for magazines and written about my travels around the globe. I love the challenge of finding the perfect image to illustrate illustrate a passage or article. An image can take a reader to a place, clarify a topic or further evoke an emotion that a writer was hoping to achieve.

Showcase

General

Swoon For is a travel and lifestyle blog that I launched in March of 2015. The site aims to inspire readers in all areas of travel, fashion and lifestyle. Many of my personal travels are included on the site as well as other "swoon-worthy" destinations that I am hoping to one day visit.
I started my photo editing and creative consulting company, Royal Scruff & Co. Creative, in March after I departed from my full-time position as a photo editor at National Geographic. I look forward to working on a multitude of various topics and different genres.
