Alessandra A. Alma began her career in the United States Air Force as a Communications and Information Officer and served as a Project Manager for several satellite and radio telecommunication systems. While stationed at Andrews AFB, MD she was appointed as the Unit Public Affairs Officer and was responsible for VIP visits, public relations and special ceremonies. Alessandra also assisted in the coordination of several Annual Air Shows where she was responsible for coordinating all the communication equipment for show participates. After leaving the military, Alessandra worked as an Information Technology Consultant specializing in technical documentation and change management for several defense consulting firms. She currently freelances as a writer and public relations consultant in New York City. Alessandra has a B.S. in Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology and is pursuing a M.S. in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at New York University. |
