I have 14 years of experience in consumer products, engineering, managing and consulting. I refocused on the food industry where I apply my experience in innovation, sustainability & technical management to integrating technology, strategy, culinary arts and food culture, history & policy. My diverse background as a technologist, manager, certified chef, sustainability guru and academic gives me a unique perspective on food, culture and technology. As a writer who has lived and worked at both the technical and liberal arts ends of the spectrum, I have a versatile voice that can easily navigate technical jargon, cultural topics, contemporary media and political discourse.
