Professional Experience

A multimedia journalist with eight years of editing and reporting experience with daily and weekly newspapers, magazines, websites, and educational publishing, I often focus on topics of health, food, education, Asian American issues, media, and women's issues. In my free time, I sing with a women's choir, write short stories, live tweet about TV and books, and volunteer with Kiwanis International. I am available for reporting, editing and photography assignments in the New York City and Philadelphia areas.

Showcase

General

"Brooklyn Terminal Market has occupied 15.5 acres of city-owned land in Canarsie for the last 67 years. Predominantly Italian and Jewish vendors have given way in recent years to Dominican, Korean, and Guyanese merchants, reflecting changes in the neighboring population. But the latest change isn’t personal – it’s business. The vendors, old and new, are coming together in an attempt to buy the land they currently lease from the city to ensure the market survives."
