Professional Experience

If there's a word you can think of, I've probably written it. Okay, not true. But I've done quite a few things: Feature writing, essays, technical writing, literary agriculture (i.e., writing for content farms, shudder), persuasive pieces, not-so-persuasive pieces, and copy editing fall under the blanket of my experience. I primarily write about parenting, health, lifestyle and current events. I contribute to MediaBistro and Seleni.org. In the past, I've contributed to Mommyish. My work has also appeared on xoJane, Offbeat Families, Funds for Writers and many others. I live modestly, write intensely and spent my free time reading, playing Candy Crush and prying barrettes out of my giggling toddler's mouth. After she goes to bed, my husband and I spend hours staring into the empty pantry, waiting for donuts to manifest.
