Professional/Personal Overview
I'm a freelance editor and health writer with more than 19 years' experience. I've edited or written an article on just about every health condition and issue that concerns readers today. I've told them how to lose weight, keep their blood pressure low, manage chronic diseases, and have a healthy pregnancy. I've spent a career turning complex medical information into simple, easy-to-read language for patients and consumers. But my writing is not limited to consumers, as I've been the managing editor of a publication geared toward managed care executives and I've written a host of articles for clinicians. My most recent major freelance project was writing the latest 488-page edition of "Your Pregnancy and Birth," published by the leaders in women's health care, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
