Professional/Personal Overview
I blog and write regional and national magazine articles and books about Hawaii-related topics. My native Hawaiian roots, as well as journalism and cultural Hawaiian anthropology degrees, provide a solid background for my award-winning writing in these areas. Another specialty is writing personal and family histories for clients, as well as writing and editing other people's memoirs. I write and edit for business clients, providing press releases, articles, speeches, web and ad copy, newsletters, media kits, blogs. My clients are in industries as varied as agriculture, building supplies, tourism, welding, and everything in between. They tell me they appreciate my clean and direct style of writing, my professionalism and our comfortable working relationships. A Hawaii-based writer, I hear what clients want, research and write thoroughly and carefully, and turn articles and projects in on or before deadline—every time.
