I most recently published a personal essay with Salon.com. I am writing my first book, "First Do No Harm: A Memoir," about birth and motherhood. I write a blog at SpinachandHoney.com and have contributed to SFGate.com's Mommy Files and was a contributing food blogger for the San Francisco Examiner.

I sold my granola bars called Nate Bars to Rainbow Grocery in San Francisco. And, before I became a mom, I enjoyed a career as a technical writer.

I freelance full-time. I live near San Francisco, CA. I am willing to travel anywhere.
