Several actors have joined the cast of The Hunger Games film franchise. Their characters will be introduced in the two-part Mockingjay movies.
Tony Award winner Patina Miller has been hired for the role of rebel leader Commander Paylor. Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer will step into the shoes of a filmmaker named Cressida.
In addition, Australian actress Stef Dawson will portray former Hunger Games victor Annie Cresta.
Three minor characters will be played by Evan Ross, Wes Chatham and Elden Henson. According to Deadline, the final two installments of this movie series will depict Katniss Everdeen’s “journey as she leads the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol.”
