Robin Urevich

I am a creative, thorough and accurate reporter and writer. I love to dig deeply and explain complex subjects simply and concisely. My work has appeared on NPR, Marketplace radio, and local affiliates KPCC and KQED. My print stories have been published in the San Francisco Chronicle, the Oakland Tribune, the Las Vegas Sun and the PBS Frontline and the Center for Investigative Reporting websites. Among my favorite assignments are a story about former gang members who formed their own Hollywood casting agency specializing in bad guys, a piece on Ely, Nevada residents who opened their own department store after failing to attract a big chain and a recent story for the California Health Report about police officers training to work with gang members-turned-peacemakers to fight crime.
