A Memoir for Dell’Olio

Nancy Dell’Olio‘s name probably means little to Americans, but in Britain? Boy oh boy. Being former England national football team owner Sven-Goran Eriksson‘s on-again, off-again girlfriend opens a lot of doors, let me tell you. And a new door now comes in the form of her memoirs, which the Bookseller reports will be published by Transworld in early summer 2007.

Doug Young, who bought UK and Commonwealth rights through Ali Gunn, says: “Nancy is a complete one-off. Her story is as full of passion, glamour and intrigue as a Penny Vincenzi novel.” That’s one way of putting it – but hobnobbing with the prime minister, catfighting with Ulrike Johnsson and getting into trouble for wardrobe choices is certainly enough to fill pages…
