A Very Healthy Lunch

On Tuesday, October 14, Dr. Sherwin Nuland met with a group of journalists at the exclusive Yale Club in New York City. While GalleyCat couldn’t attend the Kaplan Publishing-sponsored luncheon, we received a few photos from the event.

The list of attendees included the New York Times, Reader’s Digest, Scientific American, Bloomberg News and other publications. Over the course of the lunch, Dr. Nuland discussed his upcoming book, The Soul of Medicine: Tales from the Bedside. In 1994, he won the National Book Award for his book, How We Die: Reflections on Life’s Final Chapter.

Earlier this week, Dr. Nuland told GalleyCat readers his thoughts about the presidential election– giving some real advice for Joe the Plumber.
