Amazon Buys Electronic Game Developer

Amazon.com has purchased Reflexive Entertainment, an electronic game developer. Reflexive CEO Lars Brubaker described the acquisition as “a very exciting day for us,” noting that their distribution channels just expanded significantly, “bring[ing] a huge new group of customers into play.” But speculation by outside observers is that Amazon plans to introduce gaming functionality to its Kindle device, which is already also an audiobook player as well as an e-book reader…
