Amazon is Offering $5 Credit For Downloading Amazon Appstore Onto Android Device

amazonappstoreAmazon is running a deal to promote the Amazon Appstore this week. The company wants consumers to download the Amazon Appstore for Android onto their new devices and to help promote this, the retailer is offering customers that download an app or game from the latest version of the store to their Android device between December 24th and December 28th a $5 credit for future purchases.

In addition, Amazon is also giving away paid apps for free including Angry Birds Star Wars II and Where’s My Perry?. In addition, the company is running a sale on many apps which will be marked down by 50-90 percent.

“Customers look to Amazon to provide the best deals in the industry throughout the holiday season and the Amazon Appstore is no exception,” stated Mike George, Vice President of Amazon Appstore and Games. “The combination of a$5 credit to use in the Amazon Appstore and the expansive deals we are offering for Christmas week will help customers add exciting apps and games to their devices this holiday season.”
