Apple Delays International iPad Release; Real Galley Cat Plays with iPad

Our digitally obsessed sibling passed along that super-cute video of a cat playing with an iPad–a true Galley Cat for the digital future.

However, we’ve used this cat to break some bad news for all the Apple fans in the audience. eBookNewser reports that international Galley Cats will have to wait to play with their iPads. It seems the “runaway success” of the iPad has delayed international release.

Here’s the news: “Apple announced today that it will delay the international launch of the iPad by one month, until the end of May, due to high demand in the initial US launch that has caused the company to run short of iPads. Apple will being taking pre-orders internationally on May 10.”
