NY Post Page Six editor and bestselling author Paula Froelich will retire from her post at the newspaper after more than ten years on the gossip beat.
According to New York Magazine, the editor is out in two weeks–following more than ten years writing about celebrity gossip. Froelich is the author of “Mercury in Retrograde,” and is working on a new YA novel.
Here’s more from the article: “Word is the wisecracking blonde landed a deal with MTV to develop a show around her young-adult novel Grits.”

These days, writers aren’t just writers: They’re social-media mavens, seasoned public speakers, and one-person publicity machines. And they still have to find time to write their books!
