That's bestselling crime writer Lisa Scottoline flanked by Shelley Mealo and Robert Castaldi, who first met last year at Barnes & Noble in Bryn Mawr when Scottoline was there to sign copies of her book, DIRTY BLONDE. A year later, Mealo and Castaldi are a couple and came back to the same store. "Last year, when they got to me after waiting in the line to get their books signed, you could feel the sparks between them. It was actually palpable," said Scottoline. "I commented on how cute they were together and asked how long they had been dating. They told me 'we just met on the line and we are going for coffee after the signing.' They came to the same store one year and one book later and we all clapped for them and celebrated their love."

It's hardly the first time romantic feelings emerged from a book signing; BROOKLAND author Emily Barton recently married Thomas Hopkins after a courtship that began when Barton asked him out while he was standing in line at her own book signing.
