So after chatting with Dave Itzkoff last night about how he landed his Sunday NYT interview with Alan Moore, the comic-book scribe who co-created the source material for V for Vendetta, I woke up this morning to discover Heidi MacDonald of The Beat had posted her own interview with Moore, an expanded transcript that informed a PW Comics Week article late last year. If the film versions of From Hell and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen didn't already spur any of the non-geeks among the GalleyCat readership to dig into Moore's backstory, Dave and Heidi's pieces are a perfect starting point.
