Harry Potter VII Gets a TitlePW Daily reports that the final book in the Harry Potter series has been given a title: HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, as per J.K. Rowling's website. Though a release date has not been announced, the name announcement for the sixth book took place on June 29, 2004, with the book published on July 16, 2005. Ron hates the title, but as he points out, "She could call it Harry Potter and the Six Bunny-Wunnies Freak Out and people would line up in the streets at midnight to buy it." He also noticed the Associated Press was helpful enough to provide cheat codes for the Potter website where fans who don't read the newspapers can find out the title themselves. Except that to get the cheat codes, you have to be reading the paper... Email This Post |
