Last week, authors James Reasoner and Livia Washburn lost their home in a fire, a rapidly moving grass fire that shifted towards their home and destroyed "everything... except our dogs and the clothes on our backs." Fans and friends rallied around the Reasoners, with the Western Writers of America establishing an emergency fund for which it is currently accepting donations. Plans are also underway to help restore the family's extensive personal library with donated books.
