Perhaps it's a sign of how my mind works that my first thought after reading Hillel Italie's profile of Sean Wilentz, the Princeton historian who just won the Bancroft Prize for The Rise of American Democracy but is also a frequent contributor to bobdylan.com, was to wonder if he ever gets to hang out with Oxford poetry don Christopher Ricks and, if so, whether bootleg swapping is involved.
