“Blonde Brit Bombshells” Take Chicago

Last week, I was supposed to get up bright and early Monday morning and have breakfast at Michael’s with Santa Montefiore and Rachel Johnson, two British writers the folks at Touchstone were touring in the U.S. as their “blonde Brit bombshells.” Well, the huge nor’easter nixed those plans for me, but Montefiore and Johnson are still having a great time doing events together for their new novels, The Gypsy Madonna and Notting Hell, like a “high tea” at Chicago’s Bookstall where a Touchstone publicist snapped this photo.
