Book Hand-Sell Contest

montreal 1.jpgIn the Age of Amazon.com and Internet shopping, the hand-sell seems like an antiquated skill. This month, Unbridled Books and NetGalley will reward three booksellers for their hand-sell pitches–giving away three Sony Readers for prizes.

To participate, US booksellers must build a customer pitch for Emily St. John Mandel‘s debut novel, “Last Night in Montreal.” The book can be downloaded at NetGalley.

Here’s more from the release: “If you want to participate, please email Unbridled Books Sales Director Steven Wallace at swallace@unbridledbooks.com with your handselling pitch. Please include your name, your store name and full contact information, including email and phone number. In the email subject line, please reference SONY READER/NETGALLEY Promotion.”
