Books of Wonder Named the Official Bookseller for the ‘YA Lit at 92Y’ Reading Series

Heavenly Fire92Y has named Books of Wonder as the official bookseller for the “YA Lit at 92Y” reading series events. Both institutions will collaborate on the development of future programming.

This partnership kicks off on May 26th during an exclusive launch party celebrating the release of The Mortal Instruments: City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare. Fellow authors Maureen Johnson, Holly Black, Kelly Link, and Scott Westerfeld will also appear as special guests.

We reached out to the 92Y for a comment. Andrew Sherman, the associate director of public and media relations, gave us this statement: “92Y’s YA Lit is thrilled to be collaborating with Books of Wonder, which has a long and illustrious history in the YA and children’s book business here in New York. Working with owner Peter Glassman, we’ll be collaborating on selecting authors for the series as well as enhancing the audience’s experience, and making our events more interactive. New York’s YA fans have made our first season – including Veronica Roth and Lauren Oliver and (the upcoming) Cassandra Clare event – a great success, and we’re looking forward to Season 2 with Books of Wonder.”
