First Lady Laura Bush will take over as guest host for the 9:00 A.M. hour of NBC's Today show next Tuesday (April 22) to promote Read All About It!, the children's picture book she co-wrote with her daughter, Jenna—who will appear earlier in the show.

According to the press release NBC sent over, "Mrs. Bush will learn the ins and outs of hosting a morning show, and she will participate in several segments and interviews." I'm guessing Sam Hamill isn't on that morning's guest list, not that he'd come if he was. Apparently, there's going to be some pre-taped segment where the First Lady gives Ann Curry a walk-through of the Crawford estate.
