The Daily Telegraph has posted a list of the next ten books for Richard and Judy's Book Club, as featured on Channel 4's Richard and Judy. (The effect on writers's British sales is generally acknowledged to be proportionately akin to being anointed by Oprah Winfrey here in the States.) American novels are featured in the batch: Khaled Hosseini's bestselling A Thousand Splendid Suns, the National Book Award finalist Joshua Ferris's Then We Came To The End, and Mark Slouka's The Visible World. Two more novels were on the Man Booker Prize's mind: Peter Ho Davies's longlisted The Welsh Girl and finalist Lloyd Jones's Mister Pip.
