As GalleyCat reported earlier this week, some 86 percent of Japanese high school students read cell phone novels, but the genre has not caught on in the United States. Textnovel is one of the only sites curating this kind of work.

Here’s more from the company’s release about the 2008 writing contest: “Ms. Redgrave has chosen Textnovel as her exclusive literary agent to represent her story to potential publishers. Interested parties can contact Textnovel at info@textnovel.com. More information about Ms. Redgrave and her novel can be found on her blog.”
