Comics-Inspired Movie Inspires New Comic Books

DC Comics has announced a suite of Superman Returns tie-ins to be released in the weeks leading up to the film’s June 30 release. The four one-shot comics are intended to fill readers in on what happened to Superman, Lois, and Lex “between the first Superman film and Superman Returns,” which has led to quite a bit of debate about whether or not we’re supposed to pretend Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace never happened, which of course many of us have been trying to do for years anyway.
