Condoleezza Rice Scores 3-Book Deal with Crown

225px-Condoleezza_Rice_cropped.jpgFormer Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice just finalized a three-book deal with Crown Publishers–a deal the AP reports “is worth at least $2.5 million.”

Rice’s literary career will begin with a memoir of her time in President George W. Bush‘s administration, then write about her family, and finally, write a YA version of her family memoir.

Here’s more from Crown’s statement: “Rice will combine candid narrative and acute analysis to tell the story of her time in the White House and as America’s top diplomat, and her role in protecting American security and shaping foreign policy during the extraordinary period from 2001-2009.” (Via Politico)
