Congratulations, Boss

Effective November 1, mediabistro.com editor-in-chief Elizabeth Spiers is stepping down to complete the novel ICM blogger specialist Kate Lee just sold to Simon & Schuster’s Geoffrey Kloske, a Wall Street satire called And They All Die in the End. To help make ends meet while she’s inking the final chapters, she’ll also take up the life of the full-time freelancer.

“My time at mediabistro has been great and I’m very proud of what we’ve been able to achieve in these twelve months,” said Spiers. “I know the site will continue to flourish as a must-read destination for media professionals.”

We aim to fullfull that prophecy as far as the publishing industry’s concerned, and we’re grateful for the opportunity, however brief, to draw upon our expertise as we found our way around a new blog.
