Customize Your Own Douglas Coupland Cover

generationA.jpgEighteen years after he nicknamed Generation X, novelist Douglas Coupland is allowing a new generation of web 2.0 readers to name themselves on the cover of his new book.

In a Random House UK web promotion, Coupland’s most dedicated fans can create a customized cover for his new book, “Generation A.” Amateur cover designers can use that blank white diagram to customize a novel that explores “new ways of looking at the act of reading and storytelling in a digital world.” For inspiration, surf this gallery of homemade covers.

Here’s more from the website: “Here you can design and personalize your own jacket to wrap around your special edition copy of Generation A: add your own text, choose your own colours and include a personal message to create your unique cover.” (Via Andrew Keen)
