Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida Write New Film

Focus Pictures just released a trailer for “Away We Go,” a film penned by the literary couple Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida. The picture is scheduled for a June 2009 release.

The film stars John Krasinski (The Office) and Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live), and was directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes–who most recently helmed the adaptation of “Revolutionary Road.” Krasinski also directed and adapted a David Foster Wallace collection.

Here’s more from National Post: “[Rudolph and Krazinsky are] a couple awaiting the arrival of their first child. They set out on a road trip across the U.S. to find the perfect spot to settle down and raise their child.”
