Esquire Silent on Nasdijj Retrospective

Responding to yesterday’s report concerning Tim Barrus’ latest attempt at self-promotion, Esquire has declined to comment on Barrus’ claim that the magazine is preparing a feature article on how he managed to guilt them into publish him by pretending to be a Native American. So, instead, we’ll just take another fair use excerpt from the manuscript forwarded to us by a bemused editor:

“None of the articles written about what a horrid person Nasdijj is, none of the NPR radio shows eviscerating his guts, none of the TV news shows characterizing him as a criminal for pretending to be Navajo, none of the TIME magazine reporters I refuse to interview with (the reporting will not be fair and ESQUIRE will be the only media I talk to), and not ONE of the Investigative reporters that tell me — we have pictures of your house — like this means something, ever even mention my twenty years of working with Native American children.”

All I have to say is: People gave this kind of stuff notable mentions and awards?
