Exclusive Interview with 2008 NBCC Criticism Winner Seth Lerer

“There is no experience like holding a book, of reading that book with a child,” said Seth Lerer as he accepted the Criticism Award from the National Book Critics Circle last night.

He won the award for his book, “Children’s Literature: A Reader’s History from Aesop to Harry Potter,” published by University of Chicago Press. After the awards, GalleyCat caught up with the author for this short video interview, finding out more about his stance on digital readers and his next book.
