Fictionwise Releases Digital Reader for Blackberry

Finally President Barack Obama can read digital books on his favorite handheld device–the digital book company Fictionwise has released an e-book platform for the Blackberry.

The new application works with the Curve, Storm, Pearl, and Bold Blackberry models. In addition, readers with current Fictionwise accounts can access their bookshelves via Blackberry. It is Fictionwise’s first big move since they were acquired by Barnes and Noble.

According to the website, installation seems pretty simple: “Install eReader for BlackBerry directly from your device. For your convenience, you can copy and paste this URL in an email and open it on your BlackBerry. The URL is: http://www.ereader.com/bb-beta.xjad” (Via Publishers Weekly)
