From the Apple Store to Barnes & Noble

almost-54-cover.jpgWe’ve told you before about Isobella Jade, the author who started writing her book on the Apple Store’s display models and parlayed that into deals with Britain’s The Friday Project and Soft Skull here in the States. Now we’ve heard that the self-published American edition of her memoir, Almost 5’4″, which you’ve been able to buy online from Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com, will be available in bricks-and-mortar B&N outlets in and around Manhattan. “I pitched it myself to the buyer and it will be in the stores in the tri-state area very soon!” Jade reports. “This is a dream come true to me.”

It was just a few weeks ago, at BookExpo America, that GalleyCat editors met Jade in person for the first time, as seen in this video.
