From Writing Together to Writhing Together
Yesterday’s mediabistro.com content included an article about novels written in collaboration, featuring five different two-writer teams and their tips on how to make the relationship work both on and off the page. The author’s Rachel Kramer Bussel, who just happens to be prominently featured in this week’s New York in a much different context, as Amy Sohn convenes a summit of sex columnists (to which, after only finding four columnists, she also invites bloggers-with-book-deals Stephanie Klein and Jessica Cutler). It’s a busy week for Rachel (full disclosure: she’s something of a pal); tomorrow night she’ll be hosting the second installment of her “In the Flesh” reading series at Happy Ending Lounge. The evening’s lineup includes Andy Horwitz, Neal Medlyn, and Kathleen Warnock, and the stories will probably be way beyond PG (so you can’t say I didn’t warn you).
