Go Ask Alice, But Don’t Let Sarah Palin Find Out

This ABC News report says that, “around the time” Sarah Palin became mayor of Wasilla, Alaska—which as we know is when she wondered if books could be tossed out of the library, the church to which she belonged was contemplating whether it could get Go Ask Alice removed from local bookstores and libraries.

ABC also reports that Palin’s Assembly of God congregation had a problem with Pastor, I Am Gay, which was written by fellow Alaskan Howard Bess, a retired minister who had dared to suggest that gays and lesbians are people—perfectly nice people once you get to know them, too!
