Hodgman’s Expertise: NowWith Dragon, More Hoboes

One of the earliest fun stories I covered after we started working here was an item about an online gallery of hobo cartoons celebrating the 700-man roster compiled by John Hodgman (aka “that guy in those Apple commercials”) for his book, The Areas of My Expertise. Well, here we are nearly a year later, and the paperback edition has arrived, with the lavish alternate cover illustration at left…and the addition of 100 new hoboes. (I wonder if this means we’ll get an extended remix of the reading of the list.)

But what of those original hobo portraits? They’ve been given a brand new home at E-Hobo.com, with a grand total of (to date) 829 illustrations from 213 artists.
