Jennifer Weiner’s State of Georgia Has Been Canceled

State of Georgia has been canceled, ending the ABC Family show produced by novelist Jennifer Weiner.

The novelist tweeted her reaction: “Alas: #stateofgeorgia is no more. So grateful to the cast, the crew and the writers for letting me come and play…and to all who watched.”

The show starred Raven-Symone, following the adventures of a young actress and her nerdy friend trying to make it in New York City. Weiner talked about the show in this USA Today interview.
