Jeremy Lin Book Fever Continues With Scholastic Title

Scholastic is the latest publisher to join in the Linsanity. The publisher announced today that it is releasing a kids book based on the basketball sensation called Jeremy Lin: Rising Star.

Books on Lin have been a hot commodity since he began stealing headlines across the nation. Last month, books on Lin began popping up in the Kindle Store and author Timothy Dalrymple landed a book deal with Hachette Book Group’s Center Street imprint to write Jeremy Lin: The Reason Behind the Linsanity, which is slated for release in May.

The Scholastic book, which is written for kids 8 and up, will include a paperback and eBook edition. The $4.99 book will be out April 1st. Author James Buckley Jr. is writing the book, which tells Lin’s story from his years playing basketball in high school to NBA superstar.
