Job Applicant Sparks Resume Writing Debate

One Reddit user shared an application from an unnamed job applicant, generating hundreds of comments and a resume writing debate.

In the controversial resume, the applicant shared experience “formatting bi-monthly magazine with more than 10,000 readers, proof-reading and formatting soft-cover books” and other editorial work.

At the same time they explained how a stint as a “Marijuana Dealer and Nefarious Dude” reflected an “intuitive understanding of supply and demand economics” and gave them “intimate access to several very exclusive county jails.” Click here to see the whole resume–should job applicants ever share personal history this way?
