Knopf’s New Sea View

Now that he’s got the Booker in hand, John Banville’s packing his bags for America. Knopf’s moving the pub date of The Sea up from its original spring 2006 schedule to early November, with a first printing of 60,000 copies, and sending him on an East Coast tour. As a longtime admirer, I’m hoping I’ll be able to catch his New York appearance…
