The folks at How Stuff Works have devoted much time and energy to debunking Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, and you know what? Apparently it's loaded with all sorts of errors and implausibilities! For example, "Harvard does not have a professor of 'symbology,' and symbology is not a real academic discipline"! Well, duh—as I pointed out on my own blog two years ago, "Asking readers to know about both Brown [University] and semiotics is just too much."
