If you saw Sara Ivry's NYT piece yesterday on books James Frey has blurbed, you might have come across the closing paragraphs about Nic Kelman's novel Girls, which also features an endorsement from JT LeRoy. Sound familiar? (Of course, I gotta give props to the site where I heard about it...)

Not that I mind this sort of thing; after all, if blogs didn't have big media stories to pick up story ideas from, our jobs would be a lot more strenuous.
