Look Out, Oprah, Here Comes Chavez

hugo-chavez.jpgSo Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez held up a copy of Noam Chomsky’s Hegemony or Survival: America’s Quest for Global Dominance during his speech to the United Nations yesterday, and now it’s one of the top ten online bestsellers, according to the AP. As of 2 p.m. Eastern this afternoon, Chomsky is #4 at Amazon. Frank Rich better watch out: He might not be America’s most favored Bush critic much longer if this keeps up… Chomsky’s publisher, Metropolitan Books, is clearly hoping so, as they’ve gone back for another 25,000 copies.
